Position Overview

Part‑time Sales Associates are central to store operations. The role requires delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales, and maintaining merchandise organization.

Hourly, Starting At: $12.00.

• Greet and assist customers promptly, acknowledging and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns, offering alternative solutions and turning returns into exchanges where possible.
• Communicate needs to management, including restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives.

• Minimum age 16.
• Available for a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts and travel.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers, hand‑held and mobile devices.
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers and handle interactions courteously and professionally.
• Basic problem‑solving skills and ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5‑10feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Speak and exchange accurate information with customers, managers, and coworkers.
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and to/from the stock room.
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
• Remain in a stationary upright position for 80% of the time.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts and travel as required.
