Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for the mobile off-highway market? Danfoss is seeking a strategic Sales Development Manager to champion our innovative Connect and Control Solutions (CCS)—including displays, joysticks, controllers, and our PLUS+1 software chain—across the Americas.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be a crucial part of our growth and success. This is your opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in expanding our market presence.
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 based on experience.
What You’ll Be Doing- Spearhead Growth:
Proactively pursue and secure new business opportunities, exceeding sales targets for our market-leading CCS product lines. - Be the Expert:
Serve as a trusted commercial and technical advisor to our customers. You'll collaborate on innovative solutions, backed by our expert Product Application Team, to solve complex challenges. - Build Strategic Partnerships:
Work closely with account sales teams to identify and win new OEM and distributor accounts, significantly increasing our market share. - Bridge the Gap:
Act as the vital link between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication on everything from quality and delivery to new product proposals. - Own Your Territory:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for your assigned regions to achieve and exceed profitability and growth targets.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of proven success in a sales or business development role within an industrial manufacturing environment (experience in the off-highway market is a major plus), especially electronic products.
- A track record of building strategic customer relationships and driving significant business growth.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with a deeply customer‑centric mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), MS Office, and SAP.
