Cable Installation Technician

Description

Looking for several Installation & Cable Technicians for projects in the Ames & Des Moines, IA area and surrounding states. Some travel required (per diem includes travel). Candidates must have at least 6 months of low‑voltage experience; knowledge and hands‑on training are acceptable. Duties include installing data racks/cabinets, Cat‑6 cable, coaxial cable, faceplates, testing & labeling; setting up Direc

TV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes; building out server closets for network setups; working both inside and outside school and apartment buildings; occasional trench digging and directional drilling. Technicians will follow directions from project leads.

Intermediate

Contract‑to‑Hire, based out of Ames, IA; fully onsite position in Ames, IA.

Pay range: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour.
