Caseworker - SCL

What You’ll Do

An hourly Supported Community Living (SCL) Caseworker works one‑on‑one with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or chronic mental health conditions, providing support, assistance, and instruction in independent living skills such as:

• Money management
• Socialization
• Cooking
• Personal hygiene

The role focuses on encouraging clients to participate in their community, applying outcome‑based performance measures, and developing Individualized Service Plans that reflect each client’s personal goals. Schedules are flexible and primarily Monday through Friday, with potential to grow as additional hours become available.

Qualified candidates will have one of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS in human services, education, or a related field) with at least one year of related experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a non‑human services field and at least one year of human services experience.
• Associate degree (AA) with two years of human services experience.
• High school diploma or GED with four years of human services experience.

Additional requirements:

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, a clean driving record, and ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
