The Ames High School coaching staff is looking for an Associate Baseball Coachfor the 2025-26season.

2-3 hours Monday-Friday for practice. Various nights and weekends are also required for games.

• Assistscoaching staff in running a competitive baseballprogram.
• Attends all practices and has the ability to coach at an individual, small group, and team level.
• Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.
• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.

• A current Iowa Department of Education coaching authorization.
• Experience coaching baseball at the high school level preferred.

• Createa sense of belonging and welcoming environment for all athletes, parents, and staff.
• Attendwork on a consistent and punctual basis.

$1,414 season stipend
