Phillips Screw company, whose principal business activities are the development, distribution, and licensing of patented proprietary threaded fasteners and drive systems, is looking to significantly expand its presence in the North American market which has recently undergone explosive growth. We are looking for the right individual to help us continue to build on this success by driving new customer acquisitions, managing current key account relationships, and ultimately take full ownership of the North American business unit.
Roleand Responsibilities
- Drive significant growth of newly formed Business Unit focusing on new OEM customer acquisition opportunities
, as well as direct to retail - Develop and execute growth strategies that establish new sales channels and markets either by organic means or through acquisition
- Represent the company in negotiations with customers, key suppliers, and other key contacts responsible for securing optimal contract terms and conditions
- Increase sales pipeline value and hit rate with existing customer base
- Responsible for managing overall day to day business activities for the North American business unit
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to the CEO and members of the board of directors
- Four-year degree in a business-related or technical field, MBA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in the building trade industry as a supplier, distributor, or customer
- Ability to generate and close new leads in OEM, retail, building trades, and E-Comm applications
- Experience in establishing and executing on business strategies that drive revenue growth
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to operate in a small company atmosphere and effectively manage a small, multi-disciplined team of dedicated professionals
- Ability to travel as required
- Position is full-time, on site in Amesbury, but could be flexible for the ideal candidate
