Sourcing Manager

Overview

Hexcel is seeking a Sourcing Manager for the Casa Grande, AZ;
Salt Lake City, UT; or Amesbury, MA locations. Reporting to the Hexcel U.S. Sourcing Director, the role leads sourcing initiatives across designated U.S. sites to deliver strategic objectives that drive operational excellence. Salary Range: $106,114 - $180,395.

• Lead Category and Supplier Strategy by driving quality, cost, and delivery performance across global sourcing initiatives and managing key supplier relationships.
• Execute complex negotiations at category and site levels, ensuring compliance with legal standards while securing optimal terms and value.
• Develop sourcing processes by standardizing procedures, deploying risk mitigation strategies, and introducing competitive suppliers to enhance cost, quality, and resilience.
• Analyze and report performance through KPI tracking, spend analysis, and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with local and global purchasing teams, stakeholders, and leadership to align sourcing plans, support budgeting and forecasting modelling, and communicate progress on key initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• At least 5 years of purchasing and sourcing experience strongly preferred within a manufacturing environment.
• Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma and Project Management are a plus.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) for total cost analysis, supplier evaluation and spend management; familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities in a matrixed organization with creative problem-solving and intelligent risk-taking.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance also required.
