Overview
As a Quality Engineer at ARC Technologies LLC, a collaboration with Hexcel, you will support advanced material solutions for aerospace and defense.
Responsibilities- Establish and implement control plans for manufacturing, inspection, and test processes to ensure conformance to specifications and contract requirements.
- Develop and review quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures in collaboration with design and production teams.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives focusing on process improvement, scrap reduction, and supplier quality improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate product, process, and system nonconformities, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in the internal audit team, conduct audits, assign corrective action tasks, and perform verification/effectiveness reviews.
- Ensure compliance with corporate quality management system and applicable standards such as ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality management systems.
- Experience with quality analysis tools and problem‑solving techniques.
- Knowledge of DMAIC/DMADV continuous improvement methodologies;
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred. - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.
