Job Summary
At Towne Park, you will be a Parking Enforcement Attendant responsible for a variety of facility and garage support functions, including customer service, cashiering, flagging, cleaning, lot maintenance, operating and maintaining revenue control equipment, issuing citations, and reporting. The position is flexible in schedule and offers a competitive hourly base pay of $16–$18 per hour plus commission.
Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co‑workers, and clients.
- Patrol and monitor each lot to ensure only authorized vehicles are parked.
- Enforce parking rules by issuing citations based on pre‑approved guidelines.
- Manage lot signage, including taking down, repairing, and assembling signs.
- Maintain cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and general lot maintenance.
- Troubleshoot parking meters/equipment when applicable.
- Prepare reports and file paperwork regarding violations and citations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, shoveling, salting, and operation of a snow thrower.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensure & Certification: Minimum age 18, pass a criminal background check and drug screen, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
- Experience: One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to operate and maintain revenue control equipment.
- Facility maintenance and upkeep skills.
- Accurate mathematical calculation using a calculator and fee computer.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Initiative, sound judgment, and discretion under varying conditions.
- Effective relationship building with public agencies and other employees.
- Motor vehicle operation and ability to stand for the length of the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50pounds.
Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions and verified frequently. Decisions are made within operational instructions and departmental guidelines.
Physical & Working Conditions- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods and may be required to run, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
- Exert up to 50pounds of force occasionally; may lift, push, or pull up to 50pounds.
- Majority of work outdoors for extended periods, subject to extreme heat and cold; protection from weather may be provided but not guaranteed.
- Travel up to 5% may be required.
Hourly base pay range $16–$18 per hour plus commission.
