Our client is looking for an HR Generalist to support a global leader in energy-efficient and sustainable air treatment solutions. This position is 100% onsite at their facility in Amesbury, MA, and is anticipated to be a 4-6 month temporary role with the possibility of extension. If you’re passionate about building strong employee relationships, supporting recruitment efforts, and enhancing employee engagement, this is the role for you.

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing recruitment for skilled labor positions, supporting employee relations and retention programs, administering workers' compensation claims, and delivering HR-related training and communication. You’ll work in a dynamic factory environment, collaborating closely with management and team members to implement HR initiatives that drive success. In this role, you will support a rapidly growing manufacturing operation with a focus on supporting hourly personnel and office-based workers.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include facilitating hiring processes, conducting new hire orientations, supporting performance management cycles, and assisting with HR projects aimed at improving department processes. To succeed, you should have experience with recruitment, employee relations, and understanding of employment laws and compliance regulations. HRIS experience (such as Workday or ADP), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and attention to detail are highly valued.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with an hour lunch

Responsibilities

Required Skills,

Education and Experience:
  • 3+ years of HR experience supporting a business with a large number of hourly personnel
  • Experience in recruitment of skilled labor positions
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations
  • Microsoft Office and HRIS experience (preferably Workday or ADP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (or 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in lieu of degree)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • SHRM or PHR certification are a plus
