Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Overview

ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support operations at our Amesbury, MA location. The role focuses on the management, scheduling, and coordination of all shipping and receiving activities for manufactured products.

• Execute the shipping/receiving of products, including material preparation and carrier scheduling.
• Manage shipping/receiving activities in coordination with operations, sales/marketing, and quality teams.
• Review Shipping Tables to ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Arrange freight shipments, schedule pick‑ups, and coordinate transportation logistics.
• Oversee the execution and shipment of manufactured products at the Amesbury location.

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• 1+ year related experience or training.
• Basic computer skills, including functional use of Microsoft Office Suite and related programs.
• Understanding of an MRP system;
  Microsoft AX exposure preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective verbal communication skills for interacting with groups, customers, and employees.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills for coordinating with various work groups.
• Experience with UPS and Fed Ex Ship applications preferred.
• Strong self‑motivation, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and excellent organization.
• Problem‑solving ability, including escalation when necessary.
• Must obtain a Security Clearance within 90 days.
• Must be able to operate a power forklift and pallet jack.
