Newcastle Systems is looking for a driven and strategic Sales Director to lead our Inside/Outside Regional Sales team. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the full sales function — building pipeline, coaching talent, and partnering with leadership to fuel rapid, sustainable growth across diverse segments and industries.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage a team of Inside and Outside Sales professionals, driving performance against quota and strategic goals
  • Develop, manage, and grow a healthy sales pipeline across key markets and verticals
  • Assess current sales methodologies and team structure; implement changes to optimize performance
  • Define key metrics, track progress against leading indicators, and hold the team accountable
  • Act as a closer — step in to help strategize and close complex deals alongside your reps
  • Build and expand channel partnerships to accelerate growth
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain top sales talent
  • Partner with the VP of Sales on budgeting, forecasting, and annual sales planning
  • Maintain clear communication across sales, marketing, operations, and the executive team
  • Lead process and system improvement initiatives to scale efficiently
What You Bring
  • 8+ years in sales with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading teams that consistently exceed revenue goals
  • Experience managing both direct and indirect (channel) sales functions
  • Strong command of CRM tools — Hub Spot preferred
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable presenting to audiences of 2–50+ people, live or remote
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30–50% domestically
