Director of Nursing (DON)
Maplewood Rehab and Nursing, a premier healthcare provider in Amesbury, MA, is seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to join our team. As a Director of Nursing, you will play a crucial role in leading our nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the nursing department, including developing policies, procedures, and staffing plans to ensure effective delivery of patient care
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including scheduling, budgeting, and staff development
- Collaborate with the medical and administrative teams to develop and implement clinical programs and services
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accrediting bodies, including but not limited to Joint Commission and CMS
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in budget planning and management to ensure financial stability and growth
- Experience in a Director of Nursing role or equivalent leadership experience in Nursing or a related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF)
- Prior role as ADON, Unit Manager, or similar nursing leadership in LTC
- Familiarity with state surveys and CMS regulations
