* Job Summary:

** We are seeking a skilled and reliable
** Amada Press Brake Set-Up/Operator
** to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for the set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of Amada press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal parts in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

* Key Responsibilities:

**
* ** Set-Up and Operation**  + Set up Amada press brake machines for production runs using work instructions and blueprints.  + Select proper tooling and program machine settings to meet part specifications.  + Adjust and align tooling as needed for optimal performance and accuracy.
* ** Production & Quality**  + Operate the press brake to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts to tight tolerances.  + Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors.  + Ensure all parts meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
* ** Documentation**  + Record production data, including quantities, part numbers, and run times.  + Maintain setup sheets and update job documentation as needed.
* ** Maintenance and Safety**  + Perform routine machine maintenance and notify supervisor of mechanical issues.  + Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.
* ** Collaboration**  + Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to resolve production or quality issues.  + Assist with training or mentoring junior operators as needed.

* Qualifications:

**

* Experience:

**  + 4+ years of experience operating and setting up Amada or similar CNC press brakes (e.g., RG, HFE, HD NT, or HRB series).
* *
* Skills:

**  + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.  + Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of sheet metal properties.  + Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and gauges.  + Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine controls is a plus.
* *
* Physical Requirements:

**  + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.  + Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
