Senior Project Lead in Waste Management

Drive transformative waste management initiatives as a Senior Project Lead in North York, Ontario. Oversee complex projects and manage procurements in a hybrid work environment.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Transfer Stations & Landfill Operations, you will lead strategic initiatives, support operational programs, and enhance regulatory projects. This full-time role focuses on improving divisional operations while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and environmental best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate implementation of sectional initiatives and develop policies

• Conduct research to align with sector developments and legislation

• Analyze information for project improvement recommendations

• Prepare management reports, including schedules and financial plans

• Develop and analyze key performance indicators for projects

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Environmental Studies or related field

• Considerable experience managing multiple projects and teams

• Knowledge of waste management and sustainability initiatives

• Familiarity with contract management processes

• Strong analytical and communication skills
