Director of Risk Management at Medavie

In this pivotal position, you will lead the evolution of Medavie's risk function across its companies. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will embed risk considerations into strategic planning and ensure consistent implementation of risk management frameworks. Your extensive knowledge will support our mission to enhance the wellbeing of Canadians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-wide risk identification and mitigation

• Partner with senior leadership on risk-informed strategies

• Develop and implement the overall ERM framework

• Drive consistency in risk appetite and tolerance approaches

• Provide timely risk reporting and insights to the Board

Requirements:

• 10+ years in risk management, audit, or compliance

• Proven leadership in regulated sectors like healthcare

• Deep understanding of ERM frameworks and governance

• Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change

• GRC tool experience is an asset
