Job DescriptionQualified applicants should possess and/or have experience with the following:

- Strong positive interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and supervisors
- Strong ability to work as a member of a professional learning community and multi-disciplinary team, including community-based partners (colleges, job sites, etc.)
- Flexibility in assignment, which may include supporting specialized programs and/or supporting students with IEPs in general education classrooms, special education classrooms, and in the community (which includes but is not limited to: at vocational sites and on college campuses—to support students with working on independent living skills, vocational skills, recreation/leisure skills, and social skills). Highly effective oral and written communication skills

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
