Truly Hired is seeking a full-time Special Education Reading Disabilities Specialist for the Amherst Public Schools to provide individualized reading services to students with significant language-related learning disabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact students' learning experiences and ensure they receive the support needed to succeed.
Successful candidates will deliver structured and multisensory instruction to struggling readers, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in IEP meetings. Applicants should have at least three years of experience teaching reading to students with disabilities and hold a valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license.
