Part Time Art Teacher
The Amherst-Pelham Regional School District is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of part time Art Teacher at the Pelham Elementary School, which serves students in Grades K-6. It is a.2 fte permanent position. Successful candidates will have working knowledge of the current Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for Visual Arts at the elementary school level and demonstrated success working in a collaborative educational setting.
Having our students connect to real-world problems while examining social justice issues is at the core of our mission. Our art teacher will be part of a dynamic'specials' team, who work to bring the joy of the arts into our school while helping every child discover the artist within themselves.
All candidates must hold current and valid MA DESE certification as an Academic:
Teacher, Visual Art, level, PreK-8. Bilingual Spanish and bicultural applicants are preferred.
