- Strong positive, interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues and supervisors
- Strong ability to work as a member of a professional learning community and multi-disciplinary team including with community based partners (colleges, job sites, etc.)
Flexibility in assignment which may include supporting specialized programs and/or supporting students with IEPs in general education classrooms, special education classrooms, and in the community (which includes but is not limitedto: at vocationalsites and on college campuses- to support students with working on independent living skills, vocationalskills, recreation/leisure skills, and social skills).
This position assists in the Student Support Program (SSP) and the ideal candidate will have experience and or interest in helping students with social emotional disabilities.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
