Nova Leap Home Health is growing, and we are looking for compassionate, dependable Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team.

As a Nova Leap Home Health caregiver, you will provide personalized one-on-one support to clients in their homes. Depending on the client's individual care plan, responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Preparing nutritious meals
• Assisting with walking, mobility, exercise, and safe transfers
• Providing medication reminders and assistance with self-administration of medications as permitted
• Accompanying clients to medical appointments and errands
• Providing respite and support for family caregivers
• Helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's physical, cognitive, or behavioral condition
• Assisting with incontinence care
• Supporting clients with activities of daily living
• Assisting with approved specialized care activities after appropriate training
• Following the client's individualized care plan and Nova Leap Home Health safety procedures

Successful candidates should have:

• A genuine desire to care for and support older adults
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and good judgment
• The ability to follow an individualized client care plan
• A valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and required automobile insurance
• The ability to successfully complete required background screening
• The ability to complete and maintain all Nova Leap Home Health required training and annual education

Previous caregiving, PCA, HHA, CNA, assisted living, nursing home, or home care experience is welcomed.

You are not alone when you are caring for a Nova Leap Home Health client. Our local team is available to provide guidance, training, and support so that you can feel confident in the care you provide.

Caregivers receive appropriate training before using specialized transfer equipment or assisting with specialized care tasks included in a client's care plan.

Home care is more than completing a list of tasks.

It's helping someone safely get ready for their day. It's preparing a meal, sharing a conversation, helping a family caregiver get some much-needed rest, or simply being the dependable person a client looks forward to seeing.
