Job SummaryThe Mass General Brigham Medical Group operates community-based ambulatory clinics across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. This Float Pool team provides flexible staffing for primary, specialty, behavioral, urgent, and other outpatient services. The position requires a registered RN with confidence in clinical practice and a willingness to work in various practice settings.
RolePer diem RN covering shifts Monday through Friday. Flexibility for exact days based on employee availability is required. The role covers multiple locations across the Pioneer Valley, including Amherst, Belchertown, Florence, Greenfield, Hadley, Northampton, South Deerfield, West Hatfield, and Williamsburg. Float pool staff must be able to commute to any location during orientation and during staffing shortages.
SummaryProvide direct patient care and support within the outpatient setting, assist with procedures, and collaborate effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.
Essential Functions- Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
- Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on comfort and safety.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post‑procedure care.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Education
Associate’s Degree Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred.
No role acceptance of experience in lieu of a degree.
Clinical nursing experience of 0–1 year required. Ambulatory or outpatient experience of 1–2 years preferred.
Licenses and CredentialsRegistered Nurse (RN) – state license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Pay: $36.87 – $50.76 per hour.
