Overview
Dedicated local driving position based in Amherst, MA. Drivers stay at home daily and operate within a 300‑mile radius of Amherst.
Responsibilities- Pick up and deliver freight locally within the defined radius.
- Unload locally using electric pallet jacks.
- Operate reefer trailers and adhere to AM start times.
- Maintain a home‑daily schedule;
Sunday is an off day. - Travel to each job location and return to home each day.
- Ensure all loads are pre‑loaded and handle automatically assigned day cabs.
- Class A tractor‑trailer license with at least 3 months of experience.
- Experience operating reefer trailers.
- Average weekly pay $2,100 (annual $109,000).
- Insurance coverage after 30 days.
