Summary

Provides business office and clerical assistance by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Organize and examine required documentation, verifying accuracy and completeness of loan files.
  • Ensure liens are perfected in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with additional documentation, i.e. insurance and UCC's.
  • Load and edit all loans and customer information.
  • Review and process loan payments and loan advances.
  • Assists customers and answer questions concerning loan information and transactions.
  • Balance GL accounts.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer

Skills:

Knowledge of Internet software;
Spreadsheet software; and Word Processing software.

Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
