Xero Bookkeeper & Shift Care Specialist

We’re looking for a reliable, proactive Xero Bookkeeper & Shift Care Specialist to become a trusted part of our team and help take key admin and finance tasks off our plates—starting with Xero bookkeeping and support with our client management systems (including Shift Care).
AboutThe Role
You’ll work closely with our leadership team to manage day-to-day bookkeeping/admin workflows, keep records up to date, and support our use of Shift Care and related platforms. You’ll be a behind-the-scenes powerhouse who helps the business run smoothly, consistently, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Xero bookkeeping support (day-to-day processing, reconciliations, and general upkeep)
- Invoicing and accounts administration (e.g., preparing invoices, following up on invoice queries as required)
- Support and administration in Shift Care (and other related client management platforms as needed)
- Learn our systems quickly and help us get more value from them (training via documentation/videos, process notes, continuous improvement)
- Data entry and reporting support (accurate, timely, and well-organised)
- Follow defined processes and help improve them over time (suggest better ways, document steps, create checklists)
- Highly reliable: strong, stable internet connection (and ideally a backup plan), consistent attendance, and dependable output
- Great attitude: service-minded, proactive, calm under pressure, and genuinely helpful
- Trainable and detail-focused: you learn tools fast and care about accuracy
- Experience with Xero is strongly preferred (certification is a plus)
- Experience with Shift Care is highly regarded (or experience with similar CRM/client management systems and confidence learning Shift Care quickly)
Clear written English.
If occasional phone calls are required, a clear/neutral spoken English style is preferred (you may be asked for a short voice recording).
