Highway Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Highway Project Engineer/Manager to work on PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike Commission projects in Pittsburgh, Mechanicsburg, or Philadelphia. Experience in project management and highway design is required. The role involves supervising staff, monitoring budgets and schedules, and preparing proposals for new projects.

• Supervise all staff necessary to complete assignments
• Monitor budgets and schedules
• Prepare proposals to provide professional services

• Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering is required
• Registered Professional Engineer in PA
• Experience in highway design including horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage design, erosion and sediment pollution control design, stormwater management design, pavement design, and traffic engineering
• Experience with Micro Station and InRoads/Open Roads
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
