Primary function: operate and monitor the Automatic Plugger Machine in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) Department at Mueller Copper Tube Company, Inc.

• Operate Automatic Plugger Machine using control panel.
• Monitor machine for malfunctions; contact maintenance department or supervisor if needed.
• Place plugs/caps onto machine rack at waist level; each weighs ~1 ounce.
• Monitor printer machine and ensure tubes are moved into the holding area.
• Remove defective tubes from machine (requires lifting up to 25 pounds up to 1–15 times per shift).
• Pull and push tubes to roll and arrange on holding rack; requires unilateral pushing/pulling force of ≤10 pounds.
• Spray aerosol lubricant onto machine.
• Remove defective plugs/caps and replace them.
• Document number of tubes processed using paper and pencil.
• Use remote control to operate overhead crane.
• Place straps in finished product area; push/pull them with crane when full.
• Unilaterally reach overhead 10–20 times per shift to remove strap from crane hook; straps weigh 2–3 ounces.
