We are launching - Join us and take charge of our Operations in Amsterdam
We offer light electric vehicles that use our GoCimo Battery Swap Stations to get a charged battery in 10 seconds, instead of standing still while charging the battery. In cooperation with Uber Eats we are now launching our service in Amsterdam.
Are you a hands-on person with grit and start-up mindset? Then apply and take ownership of GoCimo’s day-to-day operations in Amsterdam. You will be our first hire and be responsible for running our Amsterdam operation: handling our battery swap stations, onboarding and supporting customers, getting our vehicles ready for customers, and ensuring our service quality in the field.
This is not a desk-job — we are looking for someone who likes solving problems in real time, can operate independently, and is comfortable combining operations, customer success, and a dash of business development.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Operations & Field Management
- Monitor and inspect charging stations to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on stations and mopeds (resetting systems, cable checks, connectivity issues).
- Act as the first response when operational issues arise in the city.
- Be part of managing our ad campaigns and changing the ads on our Ad-boxes.
- Be part of sales campaigns and events, often in collaboration with Uber Eats.
- Identify and approach potential fleet customers and partners.
- Manage incoming inquiries from customers (email, Whats App, phone).
- Guide new customers through the registration and onboarding process.
- Schedule and conduct handovers of vehicles.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and ensure high user satisfaction.
- Manage customer subscriptions.
- Oversee quarterly delivery, assembly, and handover of mopeds.
- Perform light technical tasks on mopeds and swap stations such as assembling front wheels, mounting delivery boxes, or performing simple adjustments.
- Report station health via internal tools and follow up on technical escalations.
- Coordinate with our vehicle service partner, monitor and order spare parts.
- Keep onboarding, invoicing, and contract documentation organised.
- Manage local inventory (mopeds, delivery boxes, spare parts).
- Support reporting on fleet performance and courier activity with Uber Eats and other partners
- Be the face of GoCimo in Amsterdam.
- Build trust with customers, partners and subcontractors.
- Experience in operations and field management is required.
- Experience from sales is a plus.
- Experience from doing electrician work is a plus (certified electrician).
- A driver's license is a requirement.
- You’re hands-on and proactive – enjoy solving problems quickly.
- You’re a strong communicator and comfortable speaking with customers and partners.
- C1- advanced Dutch.
- B2 - upper Intermediate in English.
- You have a basic technical understanding and are curious, practical and handy.
- You’re organised and structured — able to manage onboarding and admin.
- You’re a self-starter and comfortable that your colleagues are located in other European cities and that a lot of communication takes place via digital meetings, voice and messaging.
