Graduation Internship Netherland - Decentralized Identity

Responsibilities

This assignment focuses on Decentralized Identities using Microsoft Entra Verified  provides a student with hands‑on experience in cutting‑edge technology that will revolutionize identity verification and access management. The internship will involve building and demonstrating a business case on how organizations can benefit from switching from traditional centralized identities to decentralized identities.

The candidate will:

• Compare centralized and decentralized identity models and determine the value add to organizations, focusing on data security, compliance, governance, and IT processes.
• Research the added value of decentralized identities and develop recommendations on why organizations should make the switch.
• Create a high‑quality research project that can be used to position Decentralized Identities within Avanade’s existing offerings and solutions.

• 4th year HBO student or WO master’s student available for a graduation internship from 1 September 2026.
• Interest in Microsoft Entra Verified , B2B/B2C scenarios, and the comparison between centralized and decentralized identities.
• Fluent communication in both Dutch and English.
• Motivated to set up a high‑quality graduation research project.
• Analytical thinking skills and a critical eye.
• Drive to develop innovative solutions for complex issues.
• Enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Initiative and responsibility in defining the research scope.
