Experienced Analyst, IMSC Data Operations & Orchestration
We are building out our Data Strategy and Operations organization in the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain. This role is part of the Data Operations & Orchestration team located in either Cork, Ireland or Leiden, Netherlands. The team delivers trusted data to enable the launch & supply of products to our customers and focuses on governance, compliance, and continuous improvement of master data processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate, create, and maintain master data elements (e.g., Material Master, BOM/Recipes, Production Versions) in SAP/ECC directly and/or through automated workflow systems.
- Perform impact analyses or feasibility studies of change requests to ensure optimal material planning, production, release, finance, and other processes.
- Monitor and execute data operations and data quality processes, including testing, error handling, data conversion, validation, and audit/compliance actions (Non‑Conformance and/or CAPA).
- Provide tactical direction to third‑party teams and act as point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate continuous improvement of data design, processes, and templates to drive business outcomes.
- Implement and monitor tools and processes that improve execution, prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking to support efficient operations.
- Participate in, and sometimes lead, operational and governance meetings (end‑to‑end, value capture, third‑party reviews).
- Collaborate to create and maintain documentation (SOPs, WIs, protocols, data quality catalogs, policy documents).
- Develop and deliver training to partners on procedures, data flows, and best practices.
- Support the deployment of the Data Management Framework.
- Internal: IMSC MDM team, Value Chain Management (e.g., Supply Chain development leads), Planning functions (E2E Planning, Site Planning, Finance, MAKE Operations, Quality Assurance).
- External:
Third‑party suppliers of operational or project functions.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of relevant professional business experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).
- Strong experience and thorough knowledge within the healthcare or FMCG industry.
- Proficiency with data processing systems, preferably SAP (OMP+ preferred).
- Supply Chain certifications (e.g., Lean Yellow Belt) preferred.
- Knowledge of GxP requirements, master data management, and data quality tools.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- English fluency required; local language skills strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural, and remote team environment.
- Advanced analytics, data analysis, and statistical analysis (SAS).
- Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data integration.
- Process orientation, project management, and workflow analysis.
- Business behavior, cross‑functional collaboration, and problem solving.
- Data privacy standards and data reporting.
Salary ranges: €53,500‑€85,445 in Leiden, Netherlands; €52,400‑€82,915 in Cork, Ireland.
