The Role

This is a dynamic, hands‑on role that requires initiative, structure, and a positive, service‑oriented mindset. You will be responsible for maintaining a well‑functioning office and helping create a smooth employee experience. In this role, you'll not only help things run smoothly, but also contribute to the great environment our people love to work in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a tidy, welcoming and professional office environment
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations: check meeting rooms, maintain office supplies, snacks and coordinate lunch
  • Oversee access to the building and parking facilities
  • Coordinate with external service providers (e.g. building owner, cleaning party, phone systems, catering)
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees, visitors and vendors
  • Support onboarding of new employees
  • Help organize company/client events and office celebrations
  • Maintain internal documentation (e.g. office guides, processes, internal Wiki‑page)
  • Ensure all office equipment is working smoothly and coordinate technical support when needed (collaboration with IT‑Team)
  • Assist the C‑Level with travel bookings and light administrative tasks
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and provide cross‑functional support to ensure seamless operations and shared success
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and safety regulations, including workplace ergonomics
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve workflows or the office experience
What You Bring
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in office or facility management, hospitality or a similar role
  • A completed degree in Facility Management or Hospitality
  • A strong sense of ownership; you don’t wait to be asked, you just get on with it
  • A structured and practical mindset
  • The ability to set priorities and keep momentum, even with multiple tasks coming your way
  • Strong communication skills (English); you’re clear, confident, and professional
  • Dutch is a plus
  • Availability to work 28‑32 hours per week, with a commitment being on‑site at our Amsterdam office
