Location:
FTN-EMEIA/NLD/AMS/AMS/Amsterdam
- Develop and execute the European Ocean product strategy.
- Own regional revenue, TEU, growth, and profitability objectives.
- Identify priority trade lanes, verticals, and customer segments.
- Lead carrier, capacity, allocation, and procurement alignment.
- Support strategic customer opportunities and major tenders.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- Coordinate Product, Pricing, Sales, and Operations decisions.
- Monitor regional performance and lead corrective actions.
- Develop FCL, LCL, and special-cargo capabilities.
- Represent Europe within the Global Ocean Product organization.
This position will restore regional leadership, strengthen accountability, improve carrier and trade-lane strategy, accelerate commercial decision-making, and increase European pipeline conversion.
Reporting LineThe role should report to the Vice President, Global Ocean Product and Control Tower, with appropriate alignment to European leadership. The position should also provide functional direction to the European Pricing and Tender Management roles.
Qualifications, experience and competenciesExperience & Business Requirements:
Ten (10) or more years in the freight forwarders/carrier’s trade/pricing experience, of which minimum 7 years in management position
In-depth knowledge of Ocean products
Strong negotiation skills with global carrier/liners
Good command of written and spoken English; other language skills such as French and Spanish a plus
Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
High level of ownership and passion for the brand
Excellent people management and motivation skills
