WHAT YOU WILL DO?
As a Financial Account Manager you work closely with your legal and financial colleagues within the Corporate Clients Team to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations. In this position, you are responsible for managing the financial activities concerning a diverse (international) client portfolio with a focus on real estate. Further, you will be your clients' primary point of contact and be responsible for a wide range of administrative, compliance and financial tasks, e.g., bookkeeping, preparing statutory, periodic and financial reports and transaction monitoring.
Responsibilities- Prepare balance sheets, profit- and loss accounts and annual reports;
- Execute and maintain financial administrations, databases and other reporting systems;
- Analyze financial and fiscal data to prepare both financial reports and statements;
- Prepare periodic budgets and cash flow statements;
- Cash management, including management of bank accounts and payments;
- Monitor all transactions within your client portfolio;
- Maintain an organized planning of work to ensure timely and accurate filing of administrative records;
- Maintain close contact with clients, property managers, auditors, tax advisors, law firms, notaries and other external parties to obtain the required information for, e.g., reporting purposes;
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements;
- Participate in board and shareholders meetings.
In this role you need to manage ad-hoc activities, intensive client contact and your daily work. In this position you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with deadlines. You'll need a helicopter view since you are responsible for your clients' complete financial processes and reporting deadlines. You are proactive, know what you are capable of, and possess good communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications- Bachelor / Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent;
- Residing in The Netherlands;
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in accounting or corporate service provider;
- Experience with managing a client portfolio with real state structures;
- Good knowledge of accounting standards (Dutch GAAP and IFRS);
- Knowledge of tax and compliance aspects is a must;
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) and fluent in Dutch is a pre;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a part of a team;
- Strong sense of responsibility.
