Senior Finance Manager

We are excited to be partnering with a newly acquired FMCG business based in Amsterdam to hire a Sales Finance Manager, BNL.

Reporting to France & Benelux Finance Director, you will oversee the production of regional income statements, the reliability of results and its reporting to local and regional top management. You will ensure compliance, transparency and accuracy of financial information communicated within the company, consolidate and report regional results, supervise month end close, monitor price and trade-spend budget etc. There will also be some overlap into group activities, so if you had group experience it would be a plus.

They need someone hands on, but with the gravitas to push back against various stakeholders when necessary. You will be the finance point of contact for commercial functions, providing them with key insights, dashboards, and tools to understand & manage their performance.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with 8–10 years in Finance, ideally in a manufacturing / FMCG environment. They are looking for someone who takes initiative, and is a strong business partner, being able to get people on side to produce results in a timely manner. Experience in Private Equity backed businesses is a plus. Someone with management experience is also a must, as you will have a team of 2 controllers reporting into this position.

You will bring pace, energy, and a strong understanding of “what good looks like” in a PE-backed environment. The scope for career progression is substantial.

This role is based in Amsterdam and is paying a competitive basic salary and bens.
