Overview
Internship position within ING Corporate Investments, the private equity, mezzanine debt, and sustainable investments team. This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and involves working in a high‑performance environment focused on structuring and executing complex equity and mezzanine debt transactions.
Responsibilities- Assessing investment opportunities, including evaluation of business models, financial statements, financial modelling, forecasting, industry research, market, peer group, and benchmarking analysis, and drafting debt/investment proposals.
- Supporting deal team members in transaction origination and execution.
- Maintaining frequent contact with prospective clients, external advisors (e.g., corporate finance/debt advisors, lawyers, consultants), and co‑investors during transaction execution and portfolio management.
- Preparing pitches and presentations, market analyses, financial analyses, internal reporting, and taking part in shareholder meetings.
- Collaborating with other ING teams such as Corporate Finance and Sector teams to create integrated client solutions.
- Master or Bachelor (3rd year) student looking for a 6‑month internship starting Aug/Sept
2026. - Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related field; top‑tier candidates from other backgrounds with an interest in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Banking are also welcome.
- Strong academic record with above‑average grades.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

- Drive, proactiveness, and genuine curiosity.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English (verbal and writing).
- Preferred internship start date:
