Accounting Manager

We are supporting a leading global investment firm in the search for a Senior Accounting Manager to join its growing Amsterdam finance team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to play a key role in building and enhancing a best-in-class European finance function.

You will operate as a senior member of the global finance organisation, with responsibility for technical accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance across European entities, alongside involvement in group consolidation activities.

• Lead preparation and review of financial statements (consolidated and standalone)
• Oversee general ledger integrity, balance sheet reporting, and close processes
• Ensure robust internal controls within a regulated environment
• Own regulatory filings and monitor capital and liquidity requirements
• Manage statutory audits and maintain audit readiness
• Partner with internal teams (Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance) and external advisors
• Provide clear financial insights to senior leadership
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements
• Support the development of the finance function and team capability

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in financial services, private equity, or asset management
• Deep technical knowledge of IFRS and/or Lux GAAP (US GAAP advantageous)
• Experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory compliance
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proactive, hands‑on, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
