As Global Tax Manager you play a key role in shaping and executing our direct tax strategy across a diverse and dynamic portfolio of markets. You will operate at the intersection of tax technical excellence and real commercial impact, supporting business expansion, M&A, legal restructurings and operating model evolution. You will report into the Global Tax Strategy & Planning Director.
- Drive direct tax strategy and planning aligned with the Group’s global ETR and cash tax objectives.
- Provide hands‑on tax input into M&A transactions, joint ventures, market entry, and business reorganisations — from pre‑deal structuring through to post‑transaction implementation.
- Lead transfer pricing support for legal entities: local implementation, documentation, and risk monitoring.
- Navigate Pillar Two/GloBE implications for the portfolio — QDMTT exposure analysis, scenario modelling, and integration into planning activities.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across your territory portfolio and translate findings into actionable briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and manage direct tax risks; lead and support tax audits and disputes in coordination with local finance teams and external advisors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes, tools, and data capabilities.
- Act as the trusted tax interface for regional finance, legal, and business teams — building relationships across diverse, internationally dispersed organisations.

- Master’s degree in Tax Law / Fiscal Economics (LL.M. or advanced international tax qualification preferred).
- At least 8 years of direct tax experience from Big Four / top‑tier law firm and/or in‑house multinational roles.
- Analytical rigour that handles technically complex tax issues with precision — even under regulatory ambiguity.
- Commercial acumen: you translate technical analysis into pragmatic, business‑relevant recommendations and engage credibly with non‑tax partners.
- Stakeholder engagement: you build effective relationships across functions and geographies with ease.
- Ownership & initiative: you identify issues proactively, drive work to conclusion, and thrive with limited supervision.
- Cross‑cultural agility: you navigate multi‑jurisdictional environments and diverse regulatory cultures with confidence.
- Clear, concise communication — you make the complex accessible for any audience.
