Base:
Amsterdam with some travel to other EMEA offices as required.
Hours:
9:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover workload peaks.
You will be an experienced pricing professional, playing an integral part in driving the continuous improvement agenda for the Commercial Finance and Revenue Operations function and its collaboration with other business support professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Advise Partners on maximizing client relationship value through pricing techniques, modeling financial impact and viability of proposed arrangements, and challenging key decision makers when appropriate.
- Support Partners with client‑facing engagements as needed.
- Business partner with the COO’s, Client Relationship Partners and the Client Development team to provide financial and commercial support, plan deployment and investment to drive profitability.
- Support pricing of complex transactions across EMEAPAC, ensuring governance and consistency with the established pricing framework.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on pricing and commercial matters, maintaining visibility within the firm.
- Promote pricing team initiatives, deliver presentations to key stakeholders, and raise market awareness of the PCI team within EMEAPAC.
- Encourage broader use of firm tools to develop profitable and consistent pricing approaches.
- Provide education to stakeholders on pricing proposals and approvals, advancing pricing as a strategic tool.
- Assist Partners in developing budgets and monitoring performance for matters, especially complex litigation requiring detailed project management support.
- Advocate for effective legal project management discipline where necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships with other support functions, especially Business Development, to establish and promote pricing policies and processes.
- Work with NRF’s Transform function to support effective use of legal processes, technology and people to improve commercial outcomes.
- Keep abreast of industry pricing practices and competitor trends.
- Support development and monitoring of pricing models and tools, evaluating profitability and implementation.
- Collaborate on ad‑hoc commercial and pricing initiatives as requested by senior finance leaders.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant pricing experience.
- Preference for legal or professional services pricing background.
- Strong commercial acumen and exceptional analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and English, with strong personality to clearly communicate the Finance perspective.
- Proven time‑management, stakeholder management and ability to handle conflicting deliverables.
- Calm, focused under pressure with strong soft skills to influence senior stakeholders and negotiate desired outcomes.
- Strong presentation skills and experience in internal training delivery.
