We don’t simply hire employees. We invest in them. When you work at Chatham, we empower you — offering professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career, no matter if you’ve been here for five months or 15 years. Chatham has worked hard to create a distinct work environment that values people, teamwork, integrity, and client service. You will have immediate opportunities to partner with talented subject matter experts, work on complex projects, and contribute to the value Chatham delivers every day.

Chatham’s Financial Risk Advisory teams advise clients on interest rate, foreign currency, commodity, and capital markets decisions across a wide range of sectors. Our independent advisory approach is supported by technology tools that help clients understand financial trade‑offs and execute strategies at the individual asset and portfolio level. We are seeking a Vice President with 5+ years of relevant experience to join our EMEA Financial Risk Advisory team based in Amsterdam focused on delivering tailored risk management and capital markets solutions for our sponsor clients (Real Estate, Private Equity and Infrastructure).

Responsibilities

Provide advisory services to clients on derivative products and risk management strategies involving mainly interest rate and FX exposures and, if relevant, inflation and commodity exposures.

Support clients develop and implement hedging strategies that complement their debt portfolios and reflect their risk appetite.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of client financial portfolios and exposures to inform recommendations.

Structure, model, and analyze complex derivative transactions to meet client objectives.

Lead preparation and review of transaction documentation and processes, partnering with legal and risk stakeholders to support compliance.

Collaborate closely with deal managers, trading/execution, legal, and other teams to ensure seamless transaction execution and client satisfaction.

Deliver client presentations, market research, reports, and briefings to support decision‑making and board‑level discussions.

Maintain and deepen direct client relationships, including onboarding, ongoing portfolio monitoring, and strategic advisory.

Your Impact

You will be a key contributor to our clients’ success by providing expert advisory services that protect and enhance their financial interests for our sponsor clients. You will help clients make better decisions in complex markets, strengthen their risk governance and execution capabilities, and deliver outcomes that support long‑term value creation.
