Director, Management

General Atlantic is looking for a Director for their Management Company in Amsterdam. This role is crucial for supporting the finance team as they expand their infrastructure investing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, particularly in private equity, and will play a key role in ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Prepare and review financial statements for European entities
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger
• Oversee balance sheet management and reporting
• Drive month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations
• Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits
• Build relationships with stakeholders and support team development

• Qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience in the private equity industry
• Familiar with European regulations and compliance returns
• Strong technical finance expertise
• Knowledge of LUX GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with accounting processes and systems
• Understanding of technology applications like Power Query or Alteryx
