Regulatory Reporting Specialist

MUFG Bank Europe (MBE), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist for its Finance Division in Amsterdam.

• Enable the Regulatory Reporting and Data Management Office to deliver MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V.’s prudential and statistical reporting obligations to regulators, including DNB, in a timely manner and to a high standard.
• Create, review and analyze key regulatory reports, supporting senior management approval and ensuring compliance.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests for relevant information from internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, regulators and auditors.
• Maintain and update reporting processes driven by mandatory regulatory changes and changes to the bank’s business scope.
• Support periodic updates to liquidity and payment statistics reporting (e.g., LCR, ALMM, NSFR, PAY‑CQ, PAY‑CH) and rotate to other areas such as capital and financial reporting (FINREP).
• Participate in change projects and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating across functions to enhance efficiency, control and automation of reporting processes.
• Analyze new products to be offered by the bank to determine appropriate treatment for liquidity reporting.
• Take ownership of identifying, following up on and resolving reporting issues.
• Liaise with external networks (regulators, industry forums, vendors) to stay informed of best practice.

• Relevant university or tertiary qualification.
• Experience in regulatory reporting within the financial sector.
• Proficient in the MS Office suite, especially Excel.
• Experience analysing financial data and providing commentary.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Corporate banking experience considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of data quality management and data governance.
• Familiarity with programming languages and reporting tools (SQL, Python, Power BI) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
