The Global Sector Research Credit team focuses on delivering research and marketing of investment opportunities in public bond markets. It collaborates closely with Financial Markets (Sales, Traders, Investment bankers) and Sector teams to develop solutions for clients. The Amsterdam office covers credit research, credit strategy, rates strategy and technical analysis.
Responsibilities- Provide direct support to senior Credit research & strategy colleagues in product development, investor presentations, quantitative analysis, and daily workflow.
- Assist and supply critical information to Traders, Sales and Investment Banking colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with team members, traders, sales and investment bankers, presenting and justifying actions.
- Assume operational responsibility for deliverables and meet tight deadlines.
- Current Bachelor/Master's student in Finance (preferably with a Financial Markets track).
- Well‑rounded academic background with coursework in finance or economics.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Strong quantitative skills – Excel, VBA, and advanced Excel usage.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Affinity with financial markets and willingness to learn continuously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Adaptability and capacity to navigate a steep learning curve.
- Internship allowance of 700
EUR based on a 36‑hour work week. - Full reimbursement of public transport costs related to commute to the office.
- Advanced Eikon (personal Refinitiv Eikon account), Excel and PowerPoint training.
