Collectively, we deal with the types of situations you hear about regularly in the news and we provide support, insight and analysis to the management, shareholders and financiers of business.
Responsibilities- You help clients looking to buy a business, sell all or part of their business, refinance or list on stock exchanges through Initial Public Offerings (IPOs); your work helps buyers understand what makes a transaction successful.
- You thoroughly assess a target company’s finances, consider the opportunities and risks, and identify potential deal issues.
- You work with vendors, independently assessing businesses so that potential buyers can make informed decisions.
- You tailor the due diligence approach to the client’s request, creating either a financial 'snapshot' of the company or a very detailed X‑ray, depending on what the deal issue reveals.
- You analyze the history or the projections of an organization, and each assignment’s content and process differ significantly.
- You have the opportunity to work on both strategic and private equity transactions that are varied and challenging.
- You advise throughout the deal cycle, seeing both the buy and sell side of the work and developing specialist sector understanding.
- As part of a leading (inter) national Deals practice, you work in project teams with specialists—often supplemented with tax, strategy, carve‑out, synergy or IT experts—to achieve the best outcome for the client.
- You support private equity parties and corporates in the purchase and sale of companies or business units, and you are involved before and after the transaction discussing strategic matters with the client.
- You coach and help your team members in their development and are the person they can turn to for discussing their activities, ideas and proposals.
- You recognize yourself as a collaborator, valuing teamwork, and you bring the best out of your team with practical and creative problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in financial due diligence within an advisory practice, or complementary experience analyzing financial information to identify key commercial drivers, risks and opportunities and reviewing financial projections.
- Proven ability to identify key issues and deliver on time.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Studied Business Administration or (Business) Economics at a university, supplemented by a completed RA, RC or CFA (Level3) program.
- Strong analytical, Excel and reporting skills in both Dutch and English.
- Good project management skills and the ability to work in an (international) team.
- Passion for client service and commercial awareness.
