Group Controlling Director (m/f/d)

in Amsterdam

Your responsibilities

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Act as strategic finance partner to the Executive Leadership Team, enabling fact‑based decision‑making and scenario planning
  • Lead and develop the Group Controlling organization, building a high‑performance, accountable and data‑driven culture
  • Ensure full alignment between strategy, financial planning and execution across the Group

Controlling Excellence & Digital Transformation

  • Own and evolve the Group‑wide controlling framework, processes and tools
  • Drive automation, standardization and real‑time transparency in reporting, forecasting and performance management
  • Strengthen data governance and leverage AI to enhance forecasting, anomaly detection and financial insights

Revenue, Pricing & Margin Management

  • Develop and govern pricing strategy, margin optimization and credit risk management
  • Enable predictive analytics for sales forecasting, pricing decisions and profitability steering

Operational & Supply Chain Performance

  • Own Operations Controlling across manufacturing, driving efficiency and profitability
  • Lead cost controlling, CAPEX planning, and Group‑wide budgeting process
Your profile
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Several years of senior Controlling experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven leadership experience in a matrix organization
  • Strong expertise in Controlling, financial planning and performance management
  • Excellent commercial acumen combined with strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • High proficiency in handling large datasets with accuracy and a structured, systematic approach
  • Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with excellent communication abilities
  • Excellent MS Excel skills; SAP FI/CO experience and additional knowledge of SD, MM and PP modules are a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills advantageous
  • Willingness to travel regularly (approx. monthly) to Cabka sites; valid driving license required
