In this position, you will work directly alongside senior bankers on live deals and strategic client mandates, contributing analytical rigour and financial insight that shapes real outcomes for our clients. This is an opportunity to build deep transaction experience at a global financial institution with a broad and active deal pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients on M&A and equity capital markets transactions by preparing financial analyses, valuation materials, and written recommendations used in pitches and live deal execution.
  • Build complex financial models to support corporate valuations, transaction structuring, and strategic planning for client engagements.
  • Analyse company financial performance against industry benchmarks and broader market trends to deliver informed, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Conduct economic and financial research to support client proposals, strategic plans, and senior banker presentations.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured statistical exhibits and supporting materials for both pitch activity and active mandates.
  • Collaborate with senior Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory professionals as a core junior team member across assigned client transactions and projects.
  • Organise and synthesise sophisticated financial data sets to inform client strategy and support decision‑making across multiple concurrent work streams.
Required qualifications & skills
  • Ideally 2 to 5 years or more of relevant experience in investment banking, capital markets, or a related financial advisory role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and interrogate complex financial models for valuation and transaction analysis purposes.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
Beneficial skills & qualifications
  • Ideally a Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Econometrics, or a related field.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Prior exposure to client‑facing work within an investment banking or financial advisory setting.
  • Familiarity with corporate valuation methodologies and financial statement analysis across sectors.
Languages
  • Fluent in Dutch and English preferred
What we offer
  • A hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely, giving you flexibility alongside meaningful in‑person collaboration.
  • Direct exposure to live M&A and capital markets transactions, accelerating your development as a well‑rounded investment banking professional.
  • Access to structured learning and development programmes designed to support your progression within the firm.
  • The opportunity to work alongside experienced senior bankers across a globally connected platform, building skills and relationships that span markets and sectors.
  • Wellbeing and financial support resources designed to help you perform at your best inside and outside of work.

We offer an environment where strong analytical work is recognised, careers are actively developed, and collaboration across global teams is part of how we deliver for clients.
