Together with the Sommelier and the chef, you are going to work on wine-food pairing. In this way, you will challenge your taste palette and have the opportunity to come up with perfect wine/food pairings. You will learn all the ins and outs about being a sommelier from our experts.

You will also visit several tastings to expand and improve our wine list. Together with the team, you will be responsible for stock counting and keeping track of the wine storage.

Last but not least, you will provide the most hospitable service and make sure all our guests enjoy the food in Bridges in combination with our beautiful wines and their stories.

The internship allowance is €600 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week. Besides this, you also have the possibility to receive a travel allowance. Every day you can enjoy a meal in our staff canteen, free of charge.

What you will bring to the role

• You’re following a hospitality or gastronomic study
• You are looking for an internship for a minimum of 5 months
• You speak English on a business level
• You are eager and motivated to learn more about wines
• Having Wset 2 or a similar certificate is a plus
