At our large hotel and event venue in Amsterdam, the high level of service comes first. This means you make guests feel welcome, help them with their luggage, and provide them with all the information about the hotel and the city. Working as a receptionist, you will experience the dynamic and hectic pace of the day with a smile.

• Assist hotel guests upon arrival and departure by helping with luggage transportation.
• Organise taxis for our guests.
• Provide advice on tourist activities in Amsterdam, make reservations for restaurants and book tickets.
• Ensure the lobby always looks presentable.
• Serve as the point of contact for all questions in the hotel, from A to Z.
• Represent the face of our hotel to guests.

In this role, you will work different shifts. The shifts may start at 06:30, 08:00, or a mid‑shift from 11:00. You do not mind working weekends.

• Knowledge about Amsterdam to share with guests.
• Preferably knowledge of the Opera IT system and Tours & Tickets system.
• Fluent written and spoken knowledge of the English language, and preferably the Dutch language as well.

• Hourly gross wage between €14.99 and €15.68 in accordance with scale 3 of the Collective Labour Agreement for the Dutch hospitality and catering industry (may differ for applicants under 20).
• Flexibility in your schedule with a 0‑hour contract.
• A commuting allowance up to €200 per month, based on actual kilometres.
• A night‑shift allowance of 20% and a Sunday allowance of 5%.
