Night Cleaner

Position: Night Cleaner (05:00 – 12:00)

What will you be doing?
As a Night Cleaner, you are responsible for ensuring our hotel's public areas and wellness facilities are spotless before the first guests begin their day. Your tasks include cleaning and sanitizing corridors, the lobby, elevators, restrooms, and other public spaces. You will also thoroughly clean the Spa & Wellness area, including treatment rooms, changing rooms, showers, and relaxation areas, while following the highest hygiene standards.

Working independently, you ensure every detail is taken care of, report any maintenance issues or shortages, and contribute to creating a luxurious and welcoming environment for our guests.

Where will you be doing this?
In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you’ll find one of the city’s most iconic five-star hotels:
Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Conveniently located just 500 meters from Amsterdam Central Station and easily accessible from the highway, it’s a prime destination.

Your Qualifications

You maintain high standards for hygiene and quality.

You enjoy working independently and take responsibility for your work.

You have an eye for detail and strive for perfection.

You are reliable, proactive, and accurate.

You are available to work from 05:00 until 12:00, including weekends and holidays when required.

Experience in cleaning is an advantage, but not essential—we are happy to teach you.

The candidate must have a valid residence and work permit for the Netherlands.

What do we offer you?

An uplifting position of a minimum of 24 and maximum 38 hours in the heart of Amsterdam.

A salary in accordance with the Hospitality collective labor agreement, €14.99 to €15.86 per hour, depending on your experience.

A 7 month contract with the possibility of extension.
