We are seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservations Agent to join our team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys creating personalized experiences, building guest relationships, and ensuring every reservation is handled with care and attention to detail.
About the RoleAs Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for managing guest reservations and enquiries from the initial contact through to arrival. You will be a key point of contact for guests, providing thoughtful recommendations and ensuring every booking reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Handle reservations and guest enquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels
- Provide personalized recommendations and assist guests in selecting the most suitable room or experience
- Ensure all reservations are entered accurately and guest preferences are captured
- Maintain up-to-date reservation records and guest profiles
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, Guest Experience, and other departments
- Assist with special requests, VIP arrangements, and pre-arrival planning
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling
- Follow up on reservations, cancellations, modifications, and no-shows
- Ensure all interactions reflect a warm, professional, and personalized approach
- Previous experience in Reservations, Front Office, Guest Relations, or a similar hospitality role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Commercial awareness and a natural ability to identify upselling opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining a high level of service
- Proficiency with hotel reservation or property management systems is an advantage
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
