Description:

Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic and dynamic role. Partnering with Senior Leaders to drive organisational effectiveness, fostering a high‑performing culture, and enabling business growth through tailored people initiatives.

Leadership/Team:

You will be responsible for partnering with the VP Product and their leadership team, acting as a proactive, high‑energy challenger who brings drive, a spark of new ideas and a strong pulse on what is happening in the organisation. The VP Product is leading a team of 100+ employees based in the Netherlands. In this role, you confidently challenge and influence senior stakeholders and collaborate closely with the Senior HR Manager Tech, as well as the HR Centers of Excellence.

You will report directly to the Senior Director Business HR, Accommodations and you will be part of the Global ABU HR Leadership Team.

Key Job

Responsibilities and Duties:

Strategic Partnership & Leadership Collaboration
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business goals into people‑centric strategies and actionable people initiatives.

  • Actively participate in business planning cycles and strategic discussions.

  • Co‑lead with Finance/Business Operations BU strategic workforce planning

  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with stakeholders, CoE’s, and HR teams across the organisation.

  • Provide coaching and mobilise Leadership team/s development through focused collaboration of the LT Leader (VP) and leveraging L&D team’s available solutions/vendors relevant to particular LTs needs

Organisational Development and Transformation
  • Lead and drive organisational design initiatives and operating model evolution, optimising team effectiveness and productivity

  • Assess and monitor organisational health/engagement metrics, co‑drive initiatives for change, instill and embed org health as leadership’s decision making consideration

  • Implement change management strategies, cultural transformations to foster innovation and growth, while ensuring an inclusive and engaging work environment.

Talent Management & Leadership Development
  • Design and implement comprehensive ELT+ talent strategies, focusing on critical/ high‑potential talent identification and mapping to critical roles ELT succession planning.

  • Coach and mentor leaders to enhance their effectiveness, facilitate leadership alignment, and drive leadership capability through innovative methods like clinic‑style sessions.

  • Assess organisational talent capabilities, manage the talent review and performance process, creating pipelines and retention strategies for critical ELT talent.

  • Drive and coordinate ELT onboarding and adoption of learning solutions

  • Build succession plans and pipeline for critical ELT roles with the BU and collaborate with peers to enhance cross‑BU succession pipelines

Culture & Change Management
  • Drive cultural transformation initiatives, shaping and sustaining customer centric culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead DEI initiatives and wellbeing programs, developing change management capability across the BU organisation and monitor cultural health metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree;
    Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic business partner role

  • Proven experience in organisational design and change management

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into impactful people plans

  • Excellence in stakeholder management and executive coaching capabilities

  • Proficient in data analytics to inform business decisions and strategies

  • Outstanding communication and influencing abilities
